Privacy Policy for Traffic Nutz

Traffic Nutz is a single-player arcade game. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect, and what the third-party services it uses collect on their own behalf.
The short version: the game has no accounts, no servers of mine, and sends me nothing about you. The only personal data involved comes from Google's advertising SDK and, if you choose to use it, Apple's Game Center.
Information the app collects
Traffic Nutz does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location, or any other personal information. There is no sign-up, no login, and no user account.
The game stores one thing on your device: your best score, saved locally in the app's own storage. It never leaves your device, and it is deleted along with everything else if you delete the app.
Advertising
Traffic Nutz shows a single optional rewarded video ad, offered only after your run ends while you are holding a golden acorn. Watching it is always your choice; declining costs you nothing in the game.
These ads are served by Google AdMob. To do that, Google's software collects information directly from your device, which may include your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), IP address, device model and operating system version, general location inferred from your IP address, and how you interact with the ads it shows. This data is collected by Google, not by me — I never see it and cannot access it.
Google uses it to select and measure ads, and their handling of it is governed by their own policies:
The app also participates in Apple's SKAdNetwork, which lets advertisers measure whether an ad led to an install without identifying you individually.
Your choices about advertising
App Tracking Transparency. The first time it matters, iOS asks whether Traffic Nutz may track you across other companies' apps and websites. If you say no, the advertising identifier is not used and you will see non-personalised ads instead. The game is fully playable either way, and you still earn extra lives by watching. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, or in Settings → Traffic Nutz.
Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. If you are in a region covered by the GDPR or ePrivacy rules, a consent form appears before any ad is requested, and no ad is requested until you have answered it. You can reopen that form and change your answer at any time using the Privacy options button in the game's menu, which appears wherever the law requires it.
Game Center
The leaderboard is provided by Apple's Game Center. It is entirely optional: if you decline the Game Center sign-in, are signed out, or are offline, the leaderboard button does not appear and the game plays exactly the same.
If you do use it, your score and your Game Center player identity are handled by Apple under the Apple Privacy Policy. I do not receive your Apple ID or any account details — only the public ranking that Game Center itself displays.
Children
Traffic Nutz is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app is not enrolled in the Kids Category and is not configured for child-directed advertising treatment. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact me at the address below and I will act on it.
Data retention
I retain no data about you, because I collect none. Your local best score lives on your device until you delete the app. Data held by Google and Apple is retained under their own policies, linked above.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, or to object to it. Because I hold no personal data about you, requests of this kind are best directed to Google (for advertising data) or Apple (for Game Center data) using the links above. If you are unsure where to start, write to me and I will point you to the right place.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
